Bad Boy Good Man (Ménage Quad Remix) - Tape Five
SWINGHOP!!! As always, Ménage Quad delivers in this Bad Boy Good Man remix by Tape Five.
Just uploaded #Brunch Essentials Vol. 1 (Live from Hotel Chantelle) to Mixcloud. Listen now!
One of these things is not like the other…and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Creativity at its finest in remixing “Hi Ho” from Snow White into a modern day hip-hop masterpiece.
While electroswing will always be the love of my life, Electric Gentleman is really a celebration of being different. At every gig, I want to bring a different sound for a different crowd. Tracks you’ve never heard before from genres that you didn’t know existed and creative remixes that bring seemingly opposing sounds together for the greater good.
I thank each and every one of you for following me and taking in the different sounds I love. Always feel free to reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org, come out to a gig if you’re in NYC (schedule), and follow me on Soundcloud for my latest work.
I pressed record last week @hotelchantelle brunch and you won’t believe what happened…the last track blew my mind lol
Still good 50 years later. “Big Girls Don’t Cry” by Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
Bill Withers remix via The Tailors. Golden Oldies to sooth that soul.
Lou Bega. #underrated
Disco is great, and it’s even greater when you put a little bom chicka wah wah behind it to get the people going. Example A: This remix/edit of Eddie Grant’s “Electric Avenue” from yours truly.
Enjoy. It’s on the house. Summer is picking up the tab.
Oh and make sure to follow me on SOUNDCLOUD for more ; )
